GTA Online Properties & Businesses: Bunkers

Spread the love

Bunkers are purchasable properties available on the Maze Bank Foreclosures website in GTA Online. These properties give VIPs, CEOs or MC Presidents access to the Gunrunning Business which entails players resupplying the bunkers and selling the weapons manufactured from the supplies. The supplies can either be stolen (resupply missions) or purchased. Another important feature of bunkers is that they have the option to carry out research which unlocks a wide range of weapon attachments, weapon upgrades, weaponized vehicle upgrades, gear and livery for both weapons & vehicles.

You can read more about the research unlocks here. The Bunker Vehicle Workshop is also a feature of the bunker but is only accessible when you have the Mobile Operations Center and/or the Anti-Aircraft Trailer.

All the resupplying, selling, research & allocating bunker staff to either work on manufacture or research or both can be done through the Disruption Logistics network accessed through the laptop in the bunker. Bunkers incur a cost of $2,000 if not upgraded (base cost) and $4,500 (+$800 – Equipment upgrade, +$1,000 – Staff upgrade, +$700 – Security upgrade) when fully upgraded.

The Chumash Bunker is probably the best bunker to purchase in the game. This is because of its location which is ‘centralized’ and perfect for the resupply missions if you’re starting out and don’t have enough money for buying supplies all the time. The missions usually span across the map (could be somewhere in Blaine County or Los Santos). The main reason I recommend buying the Chumash bunker is its proximity to Los Santos. You will want to sell your stock in Los Santos rather than selling in Blaine County because Los Santos offers the higher profit.

Disruption Logistics Bunker Upgrades

Of course the bunkers have a lot of upgrades/modifications to put. The ones that affect your output are the ones in the Disruption Logistics network. Below are the upgrades worth investing in first:

Equipment Upgrade

The upgrade installs some higher quality equipment which will help you speed up manufacturing and research times. Also, your stock’s overall value improves. The upgrade comes at a cost of $1,155,000. Quite expensive I know.

Staff Upgrade

This upgrade improves overall speed times of manufacturing and researching. Its price is $598,500.

Security Upgrade

After you purchase this upgrade, you will see surveillance equipment and armed security personnel inside your bunker, making you feel so safe. All this upgrade does is reduce the chances of your bunker getting raided and your stock being stolen. The cost of this upgrade is $351,000.

Summary of GTA Online Bunkers

In conclusion, the GTA Online Bunkers are a great way of earning some passive income especially when fully upgraded. A fully upgraded fully stocked bunker can earn you $1,048,000. What players do sometimes is hold their stock and wait for double money on gunrunning missions so that they can double what they earn.
