Nightclubs were released in 2018 in the After Hours DLC. It allows players to make passive income in the game without much effort. A nightclub will enable you to combine multiple businesses into one. With the help of the underground warehouses, you can assign technicians to source products similar to your existing businesses’ products and bring them back to the nightclub. For example, suppose you already own a bunker or any mc business. In that case, you can assign your technicians to source weapons and various mc businesses’ merchandise and as a result, the nightclub generates passive income as you play the game.
Besides being an underground warehouse for merchandise, you can also use the nightclub for its intended use and still make money in GTA Online. All you need to do is to promote your nightclub and once your nightclub is popular in the city of Los Santos, you will earn passive income from the nightclub safe.
This guide will show you how to run the nightclub to make the most amount of money in GTA Online
Choosing the location
Nightclubs can be purchased from the foreclosures website on the Maze Bank site. The nightclub prices range from GTA$ 1,080,000 to GTA$ 1,700,000.
The nightclubs are scattered across Los Santos and choosing the best location for the Nightclub can help out a lot in sell missions and business battles.
There are 9 nightclubs available in GTA Online.
- Downtown Vinewood Nightclub: GTA$1,670,000
- West Vinewood Nightclub: GTA$1,700,000
- Mission Row Nightclub: GTA$1,440,000
- Strawberry Nightclub: GTA$1,525,000
- Del Perro Nightclub: GTA$1,645,00
- Vespucci Canals Nightclub: GTA$1,320,000
- La Mesa Nightclub: GTA$1,500,000
- Cypress Flats Nightclub: GTA$1,370,000
- Elysian Island Nightclub: GTA$1,080,000
The northern-most Nightclubs, Downtown Vinewood Nightclub and West Vinewood Nightclub, are considered the best when it comes to sell missions. Most sell missions are towards Blaine county and as a result, having a nightclub closer to the county makes it a good investment as you can save a lot of time in sell missions.
Most players in GTA, I included, are always convinced that the most expensive property is usually the best. While this can be true for some cases such as Arcades, it is definitely not the case when it comes to Nightclubs. One would expect the West Vinewood Nightclub to be the best nightclub simply because it is expensive.
I hate to be the bearer of the bad news but it is definitely not. Its entrance is rather hidden making it quite hard to drive in a Terrorbyte which is stored in the nightclub or drop business battle products.
I personally think the Downtown Vinewood Nightclub(GTA$1,670,000) is the best nightclub in the game. it is closer to the Diamond Casino and also close to the highway that leads to Blaine County. It has a good entrance and is well placed and easily accessible. The entrance itself is the sole purpose I purchased the nightclub and has been an essential part in various sell missions and business battles.
Setting up & buying upgrades
Once you have purchased your desired nightclub, there are a few things you will need to buy as add-ons as soon as possible.
Storage
The first thing is Storage. This will facilitate your nightclub to hold more stock without triggering a raid timer. We also have to bear in mind that Tony takes a 10% cut off every sale and as a result, it is better to sell all the products once in bulk as opposed to many small sell missions.
To add all the storage spaces would cost GTA$1,702,550. If you don’t have the money upfront, you can grind the game and upgrade the storage in intervals until you have all five storage.
Warehouse Technicians
The next thing is we need to hire all the technicians available. This will allow you to assign them to various products which they can source
Similar to the storage, you can hire a technician at a time until you have all 5 of them. The good thing is that GTA provides one technician for free meaning you will only need to hire the four.
The cost to hire are as follows:
- Technician -Free
- Technician – GTA$ 141,000
- Technician – GTA$ 184,500
- Technician – GTA$ 240,500
- Technician – GTA$ 312,000
The total cost to hire all the technicians comes to GTA$ 878,000
Equipment Upgrades
The last thing I would recommend upgrading is the equipment. It improves the productivity of the warehouse technicians allowing them to accrue goods faster. Equipment Upgrades costs GTA$ 1,425,000
Other optional upgrades include:
- Staff Upgrade – GTA$ 475,000
- Security Upgrade – GTA$ 695,000
Nightclubs sell missions
Sell missions can be started by accessing the computer in your nightclub office. Based on the product stack your technicians sourced, you can make up to GTA$60,000 an hour according to gtaboom.
Tony takes a 10% cut on all sales therefore you would want to minimize the number of times you sell your products. Nonetheless, you will still be left with a huge passive income after the cut for just playing the game and having your technicians source your products.
Selling warehouse goods
The beauty of a nightclub’s sell missions is that you use your own custom vehicles to deliver the products. Each nightclub comes with a free speedo custom van which you can use to deliver your products. A Mule Custom and a Pounder Custom can be purchased to help sell stocks of larger quantities.
Terrorbyte Garage
A Nightclub acts as a garage for your Terrorbyte. The Terrorbyte is one of the best vehicles in GTA Online as it not only houses your Oppressor MKII but also has some really cool missions Client-featured jobs that pay decently well (GTA$ 30,000) per job considering the jobs can be finished in less than 5 minutes.
Business battles
Business battles are free mode activities that occur periodically in a game lobby. Anyone can participate in a business battle and the goal is to collect as many shipments as possible and deliver them to your nightclub. These goods are then added to the total stock you have in your nightclub’s underground warehouse storage.
Nightclub raids
As with any business in GTA Online, Nightclubs are subject to raids. A raid timer is triggered as soon as you have 20% of stock capacity in the Nightclub’s warehouse. Once the raid timer runs out, you will be asked to defend the nightclub. If you die/get killed in the mission, then all the stock is lost.
The Security Upgrades can help increase the raid timer by doubling the stock capacity required to trigger the raid countdown from 20% to 40%.
Nightclubs Popularity
Each Nightclub comes with a popularity meter that shows how popular your nightclub is. To increase its popularity, you need to promote your nightclub regularly.
The missions are fun but can also be tedious. All the promotion missions are explained in this article.
Here are some of the income you can expect to generate based on the nightclub’s popularity every GTA day(48 minutes).

Nightclub Security jobs
With the recent criminal enterprises update of GTA Online, New Security Jobs were introduced and we can play them and earn money on the side. Marcel(Nightclub’s Lead Bouncer) usually calls or texts and asks for help regarding security jobs that he requires assistance with. You can find more details here.
